The Acid 260 is an off-road mountain bike that kids and youngsters can have fun with to their heart's content. It is closely aligned with the skills of our adult mountain bikes but is equipped with carefully selected, child-friendly components – for brilliant riding comfort and top-notch control. Adventure mode on and off we go!
No half measures - we have also followed this motto in the development of our junior bikes. So it's no wonder that the chassis of the Acid 260 uses the same mechanically shaped, double-butted and heat-treated 6061 aluminum tube set as our adult models. Combined with our Agile Ride Geometry, the result is a frame that allows kids to build confidence and improve their skills efficiently. We have also installed an easily replaceable derailleur hanger so that a small fall is not the end of the world or the frame.
